“What the hell did I just watch?” If you’re thinking this, then chances are you’re a normal human being. That was certainly my reaction the first time I watched Eraserhead. However, overtime I started to realize that maybe Eraserhead has a deeper meaning to it, and my appreciation for this movie has consequently grown over the years.

Eraserhead (1977) was written and directed by David Lynch.

Over time Eraserhead would become an influential film not only in the movie industry, but the music industry as well--inspiring The Pixies to cover the song “In Heaven” and acting as an influential force for Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
